Better late than never, an officially licensed Pictionary game is out on the Play Store

I am sure everyone here remembers the game Draw Something. It was a Pictionary-like game released on Android in 2012 by the developer OMGPOP. For years I had wondered why Pictionary didn’t cash in on the popularity Draw Something had capitalized on. Now I have to question whether it would have been best to leave well enough alone this late in the game.

Now don’t get me wrong, there is some fun to be had with Pictionary.

Google adds the Pixels to its end-of-life support page

One of the bummers about buying electronic devices is that you know there will be a point after which the manufacturer will no longer keep the software updated. We usually hope for at least two years when talking about smartphones, though some OEMs barely even reach half that time. One of the benefits to buying Google’s phones nowadays is that the company now maintains a page where you can see the end-of-life for those devices.

Samsung rolling out S8 update to address red screen tint problem, Korea only for now

It looks like the fix for the S8 and S8+’s red-tint woes may soon be upon us. An update has started rolling out back in Samsung’s home market. There’s no news yet on how long it might take for the update to be deployed outside of Korea, and it might be subject to carrier approval, further delaying the process. But, there’s no arguing that Samsung wasn’t quick about it.
