Windows Phone has always been known for its stylish user interface, including its understated Segoe font.

For some people having only one font in their user interface is a bit too limiting however, which is why XDA-Developers hackers have decided to do something about it.

XDA-Dev hacker Denisf1981 has posted this hack to give you a selection of 3 more fonts (Buxton Sketch or Comic Sans or Oksana) for your Interop Unlocked Windows 10 Mobile handset:

1. Connect the windows phone to the PC and navigate to C: \ This PC \ Windows Phone \ Phone \ Windows \ Fonts and paste the segoeui3.ttf source (1st, 2nd, 3rd fonts).
2. Edit these records using registry editor.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – STRING
PATH = SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Fonts
KEY = Segoe UI (TrueType) = segoeui3.ttf
KEY = Segoe UI Black (TrueType) = segoeui3.ttf
KEY = Segoe UI Bold (TrueType) = segoeui3.ttf
KEY = Segoe UI Light (TrueType) = segoeui3.ttf
KEY = Segoe UI Semibold (TrueType) = segoeui3.ttf
KEY = Segoe UI Semilight (TrueType) = segoeui3.ttf

3. Restart your windows phone to see the result.

Note that you should not use other fonts except the ones included in the hack instructions, as else your phone will be stuck in a reboot look and will need to be recovered using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool.

To read more about interop unlocking your phone see our page here, and before you attempt the hack read more at XDA-Developers here.
