ANDROID 4.4 KITKAT WILL BE RELEASED IN OCTOBER: NESTLE

The Android 4.4 KitKat update release date has been pegged for October , as Nestle has revealed the first news about the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat on Facebook.
While replying to a user who asked “When Android 4.4 KitKat will be available”, Nestle’s German KitKat Facebook handle replied “Android 4.4 KitKat is available from October”.
Earlier this month, Google announced that it would be releasing a new Android update to replace Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Instead of Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, the company delivered Android 4.4 KitKat. However, Google did not mention when the Android 4.4 update would rollout.
What we do know is that the update is a partnership with Nestle and its candy, the KitKat bar. And it now looks like it may have been Nestle may have spilled some Android 4.4 KitKat news ahead of Google’s official reveal. Given the close partnership, we imagine that Nestle likely knows of Google’s plans, so it could be that this time frame is accurate.
In the official promotional video of the KitKat announcement released by Google, a person was seen holding up a phone which came with a Nexus logo at the back, very identical to the Nexus 7 (2013). The back of the mysterious phone had a matte finish and included a large camera lens which has not been seen on any Nexus device, yet.
Little else is known about the Android 4.4 KitKat update though rumors suggest that it could bring updates for older devices, fragmentation changes including screen resizing, Miracast updates, color changes and new notification widgets.
It is rumoured that the next Nexus smartphone would run Android 4.4 KitKat OS and both are expected to be launched at the same event in October that is just around the corner, we imagine Google is getting prepared to send their press invites  in which they’ll want to give attendees ample time to plan for the trip.

Google Reveals Android 4.4 KitKat OS: 11 New Features and 6 New Technical Specifications Added

Google welcomes Android 4.4 KitKat OS version instead of unveiling Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie before 2013 ends. Google and Nestle made partnership to create the upcoming iteration of Android to 4.4 KitKat. How sweet will this new OS version could be?
Android Licks KitKat
After so many dessert-named versions of Android from Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, and Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean, Android is going to offer something with even tastier and calorie-rich dessert – KitKat.
According to the Android’s official Web site, 4.4 KitKat is official and it suspends the rumoured Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie expected in October 2013.
“Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Éclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favourite chocolate treats, KitKat®.”
An image also revealed that Google already made a brand-new statue of the newest member KitKat in HQ grounds. Android 4.4 KitKat is now the upcoming latest but it doesn’t mean that Android 5.0 is no more; for now Key Lime Pie should remain in the fridge.
Android 4.4 KitKat Features
Google hasn’t revealed any features yet of the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat but instead, the company said: “our goal with Android KitKat to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody.”
With this statement from Google, it is expected that KitKat will become accessible to Android-running devices with lower RAM such as 512MB and older Android version such as 2.3 Gingerbread. This optimisation has been rumoured to be included in Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
