Fossil Announces Two New Android Wear Watches, The Q Wander And Q Marshal

New-QWander-Marshal

Fossil is going all in with Android Wear following the release of the Q Founder. The company has announced two new Wear devices—Q Wander and the Q Marshal—with a slimmer profile and some interesting styles. You can’t buy them yet, but these devices look even more “watch-like” than the Q Founder and Moto 360.

We don’t yet have full specs on the Q Wander and Q Marshal, but I think it’s safe to assume they will share a lot with the Q Founder, including the flat tire LCD.

Ride-Sharing is getting a promotion. Starting today, the option will appear as its own dedicated tab inside Google Maps. Here it will sit alongside driving, taking public transportation, and walking.

The ride-sharing tab will attempt to pull up whichever options are available in your area. One example image shows Uber and 99Taxis in Sao Paulo. Google Maps displays the price of each option and how far away, in time, the nearest vehicle is.

updates

System updates are a good thing usually, but not for everyone all the time. Maybe you’ve got some mods that you don’t want to break or you’ve heard about some nasty bugs in a new build that you want to avoid. The Android N developer preview lets you block updates in the event you don’t want them.

This toggle is in Developer Options, so you’ll have to enable that menu to access it.

Web Version Of Inbox By Gmail Gets Smart Reply

Screenshot from 2016-03-15 15-33-14

Ugh, I have to think of another way to respond to this inane email. People always expect me to take care of their problems, but they never include enough information for me to have any idea what they’re talking about.

Huh, what are these buttons at the bottom of the email? “Leave me alone.” “Not this again.” “You broke it, you fix it.”

Google, you know me so well. But, this is a little creepy.
