Deal: Unlocked Galaxy S8 for just $575, Galaxy S8 Plus for only $675

Flagship smartphones may cost a pretty penny when they’re first announced, but wait a few months and they can drop in price pretty rapidly. Take the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, for instance. When they first went on sale, Samsung was selling them for $750 and $850 respectively, but now, thanks to this new Groupon deal, you can snag these phones for $175 less than that.

That’s right — Groupon is selling the unlocked Galaxy S8 for just $574.99, while the Galaxy S8 Plus can be yours for only $674.99.

This is a great deal for a few reasons:

  • These are unlocked variants, so they’ll be compatible with your GSM or CDMA carrier of choice.
  • These phones are brand spanking new — no refurbs here.
  • Whichever model you choose, you’ll get a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, just like you would if you bought the device straight from Samsung.

Groupon says this deal ends on July 18, but I wouldn’t wait until then to pick one up. This is one of the biggest discounts we’ve seen for these phones so far, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they sell out before then.
