Crowdfunding project of the week: Vintage Vinyl Bluetooth Speaker
Posted by ishubhamsingh
Welcome to our ‘Crowdfunding project of the week’, where we highlight some of the coolest gadgets coming from sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo. You can’t be browsing through hundreds of campaigns, so we do all the hard work for you. Let’s jump right into this weeks featured project!
Other featured projects:
- MOTUS turns your phone into a pro cameraman
- Jelly is a tiny phone running Android Nougat
- Cosmo Connected smart brake light for motorcyclists
Are you a vinyl fan? We know plenty of audiophiles are all about it. Today’s speaker will represent your love for records while giving any room an awesome vintage touch. In essence, this is simply a Bluetooth speaker; it is its design and materials that make it special. An actual vinyl is shaped to look like a horn loudspeaker, while the rest of the body highly resembles a classic gramophone.
Where things get fun is in customization. You can choose the album, as well as the label. Pledging $195 will get you a speaker made with an album representative of your genre of choice. Options include 60s Rock, 70s Rock, The 80s, Disco, Jazz and more. Pledge $205 and you get to create your own custom label or design the album artwork. You can even submit your own favorite album to be built into the speaker. If you don’t have it, pledge $250 and the team will find it for you.
It is not the cheapest Bluetooth speaker around, but you are buying more than just a speaker. This will be a representation of musical history and your own taste. Are any of you signing up?
