Keyboard typing is already rolling out in Google Assistant

We’ve known for a while that typing in Google Assistant was coming, but it was officially announced yesterday at I/O. And now the feature is starting to show up for some users when they launch Assistant on their phones.

If you’re one of the lucky ones for whom the option is live, you will see a keyboard icon at the bottom left of the screen when you say, “OK Google,” or when you tap and hold on your device’s home button.
